D-O Event Guide
Protect D-O at the Super Sandcrawler, unlock him at 400 progress, finish the four-step reward track, and understand the repeatable Nova cap and every recorded encounter reward.

How does the D-O Event work and how much Nova can you earn?
Protect D-O at the Super Sandcrawler, defeat hunters until the score reaches 80, survive the 60-second upload, and talk to him. The four main milestones end at 2,750 progress; afterward every 300 progress pays 2 Nova for up to 500 repeat claims, or 1,000 Nova on the repeatable track.
Complete the 400-progress D-O unlock first, then decide whether the 300 V-Bucks Event Pass is useful for your repeatable Nova target.

The first 400-progress milestone unlocks D-O directly. His companion ability halves Fusion time. The Nova Shop unlock costs 100 Nova.
How the D-O Event works
Protect D-O at the Super Sandcrawler, defeat hunters until the score reaches 80, hold through the 60-second upload, and talk to him to finish.
- Meet D-O as hostile hunter droids close in.
- Protect him while he reaches and uses the Super Sandcrawler console.
- Defeat the attackers until the encounter reaches its hunter-score target of 80.
- Hold the area through the 60-second data-upload and loot phase.
- Talk to D-O when the interface says “Talk to D-O” to finish the reward interaction.

Nova Crystal limit
Every additional 300 progress awards 2 Nova Crystals. The repeatable track is capped at 500 claims, or 1,000 Nova Crystals.
Pool 2 separately contains a rare 2-Nova drop. Whether hunter-drop Nova counts toward the repeat-claim cap hasn’t been confirmed. The repeat track pays at most 1,000 Nova, but the total event payout could be higher.
Event Pass
The 300 V-Bucks Event Pass grants 2x event progress, +0.5x to all event boosts, and is recorded as carrying into reruns.

Since v1.30.2 the hunter spawners release fewer droids on shorter timers: B1 battle droids 15 (was 30) every 0.1 seconds, B2 super battle droids 5 (was 10) every 0.3 seconds, and KX droids 3 (was 10) every 0.5 seconds. Each used a 1-second timer before.
