What changed in Droid Tycoon v1.34.0?
Seven Power Droids and a sixth Rebirth path unlock on October 10, 2026 at 1:00 PM PDT (8:00 PM UTC), with a WG-22 event where spare Power Droids earn the Iconic WG-22. Blueprint Storage grows from 3 to 9 slots, and R2 and B2 Heavy swap blueprint prices.
Save spare Power Droids for WG-22, check the sixth path in the Rebirth planner, and plan Nova Crystals for Blueprint Storage.
Plan the WG-22 eventNew Power Droids
The seven ordinary Power Droids reveal on October 10, 2026 at 1:00 PM PDT (20:00 UTC). They have new portraits and use the existing Worker or Astromech companion rules. ECG is excluded from Astromech rewards.
| Droid | Rarity / Role | Blueprint Credits | Credits / Second | Crafting XP |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| EG-58 | Rare / Worker | 160,000 | 70 | 16,000 |
| EGL | Epic / Worker | 2,700,000 | 300 | 270,000 |
| KT | Epic / Worker | 4,200,000 | 450 | 420,000 |
| MPH | Epic / Astromech | 6,600,000 | 690 | 660,000 |
| JO9-4MN | Legendary / Worker | 28,000,000 | 1,300 | 2,800,000 |

| ECG | Mythic / Astromech | 240,000,000 | 6,200 | 24,000,000 |
When to Play
The launch event runs from Saturday, October 10, 2026 at 1:00 PM PDT (8:00 PM UTC) through Sunday, October 11, 2026 at 1:00 PM PDT (8:00 PM UTC).
These instructions and reward amounts are configured for the event. The launch has not yet been played in this review.
Give a Droid to WG-22
- Craft a spare Gonk, EG-58, EGL, KT, MPH, JO9-4MN, PLNK or ECG. These are the Power Droids accepted by the event.
- Equip it as your companion and find WG-22. Look for the green droid in the image above and the “Give Gonk” interaction.
- If the droid is locked, unlock it first. Check that you can spare it for Rebirth and your base.
- Open “GIVE DROID TO WG-22?” and confirm. This removes that droid from your inventory and enlists it in the army.
FUS-3 and X-ONK have Gonk sounds, but the event’s hand-in check does not accept them. WG-22 himself does not have the Power Droid hand-in tag.
How Much Progress a Droid Gives
Progress per hand-in is 1 + rarity tier + finish tier. Rarity tiers are Common 0, Rare 1, Epic 2, Legendary 3 and Mythic 4. Finish tiers are Default 0, Gold 1, Diamond 2, Rainbow 3, Beskar 4, Galactic 5, Stellar 6 and Kyber 7.
A Default Gonk gives 1 point. A Galactic JO9-4MN gives 9. A Kyber ECG gives 12. The Event Pass doubles these amounts. Each hand-in also pays 80 seconds of your base Credit income, with a minimum of 800 Credits.
Event Rewards
| Reward | More Progress | Total Progress |
|---|---|---|
| WG-22 | 200 | 200 |
| 20 Treats | 75 | 275 |
| 1 Crafting Boost Token | 125 | 400 |
| 20 Treats | 75 | 475 |
| 1 Crafting Boost Token | 125 | 600 |
| 20 Treats | 75 | 675 |
The stages run in order. The first 200 progress unlocks WG-22, and 675 total progress completes all six stages. Then every 60 progress awards 3 Nova Crystals. The configured limit is 1,000 claims, or 3,000 crystals, with no repeatable cooldown. The three configured WG-22 windows share saved progress and this claim limit.
Crafting Boost Tokens
Each token activates a 15-minute (900-second) lobby boost: 2x Droid Depot crafting speed and pickaxe level for everyone. The event awards one token at each of its two token stages. The same token is sold separately for 250 V-Bucks or 150 Nova Crystals.
Build the Gonk Army
The shared lobby counter counts handed-in droids. At 30 hand-ins, the army activates a 60-second variant boost. A high-value droid can give several personal progress points while adding one recruit to this shared counter. The army clears after the boost and can be built again.
During the event, a Gonk surge is queued after 3 ordinary conveyor spawns. It chooses revealed Power Droids that can appear on the conveyor. WG-22 is earned from the event, rather than being included in that ordinary spawn pool.
WG-22 Event Pass
Price: 300 V-Bucks. The pass doubles event progress and adds +0.5x to the event’s crafting, pickaxe and Credit boosts. Each normal event boost is 2x, rising to 2.5x with the pass.
The pass is for the WG-22 event. Its configured purchase and effects still need an event-day transaction check.
Using WG-22
WG-22 is an Iconic Battle droid. Equip him for 2x Flawless Chance. His income follows the 15% Iconic income rule, with a 50-Credit minimum before the normal income bonuses. His Flawless perk adds +1 to the shared temporary chance multiplier; with other boosts it does not blindly double the final probability.
He costs 1,000,000 Credits to place after Super Rebirth. His later Nova Shop unlock costs 100 Nova Crystals, configured from Monday, November 9, 2026 at 12:00 PM PST (8:00 PM UTC).
Sixth Rebirth Path
Rebirth paths: 5 → 6. The sixth path unlocks with EG-58 on October 10 at 1:00 PM PDT (20:00 UTC). It has 40 steps with the existing Credit costs and unlock schedule, and a new set of droid requirements.
The final step requires Kyber JO9-4MN, Kyber PLNK and Kyber ECG. The Rebirth planner lists the complete path.

Scourge Prime Preview
The new purple “???” banner appears alongside Scourge Prime’s model, ship artwork and materials. The teaser keeps its name concealed.
The teaser countdown targets October 24, 2026 at 7:00 AM PDT (14:00 UTC). This is a configured countdown, and its event name, end time, instructions, costs, goals and rewards are not confirmed in 1.34.0. There is no collectible Scourge Prime droid definition. The model viewer lets you inspect the available preview.
The build separately configures WG-22 again on October 17 and 18, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM PDT each day (14:00 UTC to 02:00 UTC the following day). Those entries still say WG-22 and do not establish Scourge Prime’s schedule.
Other Changes
- Droid definitions: 92 → 100. The in-game Droidex adds the new portraits and rearranges its cards. Its final Default page has 20 entries.
- The printed-name atlas grows from 8 to 9 rows. Recognition data needs the new layout and eight new labels.
- Gonk-family droids gain distinct calls. FUS-3 and X-ONK use Gonk sounds too, and BB-8 gets his own sound tag.
- Fusion results, scaled blueprint rewards, shop rolls and Cantina requests check whether a droid has revealed before selecting it.
- The Kyber sell description explicitly says the droid must be activated.
