What was in Droidex Companion 1.2.9?

Droidex Companion 1.2.9 shipped Fusion planning, automatic Limited Deal alerts, signed definition updates, high-resolution and ultrawide display profiles, and localized rarity and finish labels. It has since been superseded. Use the Overwolf Appstore for the current public release.

Archived Overwolf release

Droidex Companion 1.2.9 has been superseded. It combines the skipped 1.2.8 scope with the high-resolution and localization work completed for 1.2.9.

Update now: Open the Overwolf Appstore for the current public version of Droidex Companion.

How to update

The current public Droidex Companion release replaces 1.2.9. Restart Overwolf to receive it automatically, or open the Overwolf Appstore and update Droidex Companion.

Fusion recipe tracker

• Switch the compact overlay between Rebirth and Fusion without stopping Rebirth observation in the background.
• Choose a Variant and Fusion Droid from compact controls with all 17 recipes available.
• Enable Filter Collected to hide Fusion outputs already synchronized to your Droidex.
• Check off all three required ingredient droids manually. Repeated ingredients stay as three separate cards, matching the Fusion table instead of collapsing into a quantity label.

Automatic next Limited Deal

• Ten minutes before the global hourly Limited Deal changes, a transparent alert slides in beneath Your build on the left side of the game.
• The alert shows the next droid and variant, plays the selected game notification sound, and slides away after eleven seconds.
• It stays attached to the left edge while remaining vertically movable and resizable.

High-resolution overlays

• Owner-calibrated defaults cover 3840x2160 at 1.75x, 3440x1440 at 1.5x, and refreshed 2560x1440 reader regions and overlay positions.
• Drawing, native-window placement, resizing, and mouse input now use one game-pixel coordinate system, including Windows display scaling above 100%.
• Overlays repair themselves inside the active Fortnite surface after loading, scaling, dragging, resizing, or a resolution change.
• The Overlay Manager adds 0.5x through 1.75x size controls and clearer move rails while positions are unlocked.

Localized screen reading

• Droidex detects Fortnite’s active language and recognizes rarity and finish labels across all fourteen shipped languages.
• Flat tier and rarity labels can match Fortnite’s localized label art, including Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Russian, and Arabic, with OCR retained as fallback.
• Cantina spawn-location matching covers all fourteen languages; Sandcrawler matching remains limited to language forms observed directly.

Droid Tycoon v1.28 support

• Droidex scanning follows the server-owned 88-droid directory and expanded 562-entry collection instead of a frozen packaged page table.
• The scanner supports all 29 valid collection screens across seven tiers.
• Nova Shop recognition includes the v1.27 inventory, Fusion additions, restored Featured cards, and the four-row Workshop.
• Your build uses the measured dock for the taller Workshop layout and returns to its prior position after the shop closes.

Faster content corrections

• Signed runtime definition packs can update supported roster, Droidex-page, Nova Shop, Fusion-recipe, placement, and game-data facts without another OPK.
• Definition updates stay staged until Refresh Droidex is selected and retain last-known-good rollback protection.
• Rebirth blueprint artwork and animation timing continue to come from the Droidex website renderer, so those visual corrections can ship independently of the Companion package.

Overlay and GEP reliability

• Droidex overlays appear only in Droid Tycoon; a stale island code cannot reopen them during Battle Royale or another Fortnite experience.
• Reloading Droidex while already in Droid Tycoon restores overlays from the newest session evidence instead of replaying older Fortnite sessions.
• GEP health is handled per feature, so one unrelated unavailable field no longer disables healthy location, item, match, or phase data.
• Screen-reading features continue when a GEP-only capability is unavailable, and the Message Center recommends restarting Fortnite when a healthy location subscription has not delivered a coordinate.
• The Timers sound picker now uses compact left/right arrows instead of a clipped dropdown.

Fixes

• Fixed a repeated definition acknowledgement loop that could exhaust the app stack and crash Overwolf.
• Fixed Fusion controls disappearing when overlays were locked or compact.
• Fixed shop-mode timing that could make Your build and other overlays pulse during a long scan.
• Fixed Your build remaining expanded in its Nova Shop position when the player walked away while Overwolf was completing the dock move.
• Fixed mid-island app reloads leaving every selected overlay closed.
• Fixed misleading all-GEP warnings when only one provider field was unavailable.
