Droid Tycoon Kyber Event Guide

When is the Droid Tycoon Kyber Event and what does it pay?

It runs from Saturday, September 26, 2026 at 1:00 PM Pacific to Sunday at 1:00 PM. Crafting 1, 5, 15 and 30 Kyber droids pays 10 Kyber Crystals, 50 Nova, 50 Kyber Crystals and 250 Nova, then 3 Kyber Crystals per 5 crafts.

Have one Rebirth done, visit Huyang for the free intro crate, and craft every timed Kyber spawn.

When the Kyber Event runs

• Starts: Saturday, 26 September 2026, 20:00 UTC (Saturday, September 26, 2026 at 1:00 PM Pacific).
• Ends: Sunday, 27 September 2026, 20:00 UTC (Sunday, September 27, 2026 at 1:00 PM Pacific).
• The window is scheduled in the island data; it has not been announced separately.
• Kyber itself unlocks at the same moment, so the event is the first chance to find, activate and fuse Kyber droids.

How the event works

• Progress is +1 for every Kyber droid you craft during the event.
• A Kyber blueprint is forced onto your belt every 5 minutes, starting 20 seconds in: up to 288 timed spawns if you play the whole event.
• A map marker and an arrow point you to Huyang's Workbench for up to 30 minutes, or until you reach it.
• World Missions keep running during the Kyber Event, which other live events pause, so their Kyber Crystal crates stay available.
• Cantina Quests refresh when the event starts and ends, so Kyber Crystal rewards appear on the quest board.
• The intro cinematic lasts 30 seconds and the outro 20 seconds; the outro ends with a Gonk-O-Ween teaser.

Goals and rewards

1.32.0 added a goal at 1 and replaced every reward. The Instant Fusion token and the borrowed D-O Paint are gone.

Repeatable reward

• After the last goal, every 5 Kyber droids crafted pays 3 Kyber Crystals, up to 50 claims: 150 Kyber Crystals in total.
• In 1.31.1 the repeat paid 2 Nova Crystals for up to 40 claims with a 1-second cooldown; 1.32.0 removes the cooldown.
• Reaching the cap takes 280 Kyber droids crafted.

Kyber Crystals from World Mission crates and Cantina Quests during the event come on top of these.

Event Pass (Huyang Event)

The pass was renamed from Event Pass (D-O Event) and has a new Huyang icon. It still gives 2x event progress and +0.5x to all event boosts. Its price is not set in the island data.

How to prepare

1. Have at least one Rebirth, or Huyang will not activate anything.
2. Save Kyber Crystals or Nova Crystals for activation: a Common costs 1 Kyber Crystal or 200 Nova, a Mythic 10 Kyber Crystals or 1,000 Nova.
3. Keep your Stellar duplicates: three Stellar copies of one droid fuse into Kyber after the unlock, and Upgrade Chips take a Stellar droid to Kyber.
4. Visit Huyang early for the one-time intro crate and its free Kyber blueprint and Kyber Crystal.
5. Do not Super Rebirth with unspent Kyber Crystals; the balance resets to 0.

After the Kyber Event

The schedule has a new, still empty event slot from 3 October 2026, 20:00 UTC to 4 October 2026, 20:00 UTC, and the files carry a Gonk-O-Ween teaser whose logo reads "October 3rd - November 1st". No Gonk-O-Ween content, rewards or prices are configured yet.
