Droid Tycoon v1.32.0: Kyber Droids

What changed in Droid Tycoon v1.32.0?

Kyber arrives as the eighth finish on September 26, 2026. Huyang activates Kyber droids into Green, Blue or Purple, Kyber Crystals become a currency, Rebirth rises to rank 40, and a 24-hour Kyber Event starts the same day.

Kyber droids

• Kyber is the eighth finish, after Stellar, for every non-Iconic droid. It unlocks at Saturday, 26 September 2026, 20:00 UTC (Saturday, September 26, 2026 at 1:00 PM Pacific).
• Craft time ×36 (Stellar ×18); blueprint cost ×36 for Common and Rare, ×4,500 Epic, ×87,000 Legendary and ×168,000 Mythic; income the same as Stellar until activated.
• Every Kyber droid arrives Inactive. Activation at Huyang's Workbench rolls Green (50%, +200% income), Blue (30%, +225%) or Purple (20%, +260%).
• Red, Orange, Yellow, Darksaber Black and White are defined in the files but cannot be rolled and have no bonus yet.
• Power 8, so companion perks reach Worker +1.6 to +2.4/sec, Astromech +8 to +12 and Battle +300 to +380 once activated. An Inactive Kyber has no perk.
• Stellar → Kyber costs 240, 1,000, 12,000, 30,000 or 110,000 Upgrade Chips by rarity. Selling pays 70% of the blueprint cost plus 22, 24, 48, 102 or 210 chips. The Chip Station makes 16 to 80 chips a minute.

Huyang's Workbench and Kyber Crystals

• Activation needs 1 Rebirth and a Kyber droid equipped as a companion. It costs 1, 2, 4, 7 or 10 Kyber Crystals, 200 to 1,000 Nova Crystals or 50 to 250 V-Bucks by rarity.
• A one-time intro crate holds a Common Kyber blueprint (Mouse, Pit or Gonk) and 1 Kyber Crystal.
• Kyber Crystals come from World Mission crates (5, 10, 15, 20), Cantina Quests (1 to 4 by rarity), Kyber Event rewards and the intro crate. A Super Rebirth resets them to 0.
• The Huyang Weapon Wall awards Green, Blue and Purple Lightsabers for 20 droid types in each colour; Kyber Green, Blue and Purple Paints (#36 to #38) need 60.

Kyber Event

• Saturday, 26 September 2026, 20:00 UTC (Saturday, September 26, 2026 at 1:00 PM Pacific) to Sunday, 27 September 2026, 20:00 UTC (Sunday, September 27, 2026 at 1:00 PM Pacific).
• Goals 1, 5, 15, 30 Kyber droids crafted pay 10 Kyber Crystals, 50 Nova Crystals, 50 Kyber Crystals, 250 Nova Crystals.
• Then 3 Kyber Crystals per 5 crafts, up to 50 claims: 210 Kyber Crystals and 300 Nova Crystals in all.
• A Kyber blueprint spawns every 5 minutes, World Missions keep running, and the Event Pass is renamed Event Pass (Huyang Event).

Rebirth ranks 36 to 40

• Max rank 35 → 40 from the Kyber unlock. Ranks cost 1.2, 2.5, 4.5, 8 and 15 quadrillion Credits.
• Each rank needs three activated Kyber droids; an Inactive Kyber does not count.
• Credits Multi rises to +400% at rank 40, and ranks 38 and 40 add Crit Amount +15% and +20%. Each pays 300 Nova Crystals, and a Super Rebirth at 36 to 40 pays 407 to 529.

Sandcrawler belt odds

• Galactic and Stellar weights rise two- to fourfold: Common Galactic 1.40% → 3.95% and Stellar 0.70% → 2.63%.
• Kyber joins at 1.32% for Common down to 0.23% for Mythic. Default to Beskar weights are unchanged.

Surges and the Nova Shop

• Kyber Surge: 500 V-Bucks or 450 Nova Crystals, from 26 September 2026, 20:00 UTC.
• Beskar Surge 150 → 100 Nova, Galactic Surge 300 → 150, Stellar Surge 450 → 300. V-Bucks prices drop to 200, 300 and 400.
• The Rainbow Surge Token is retired; owned tokens convert 1-for-1 into Beskar Surge tokens.
• Blueprint Scrap gains a fifth level for 400 Nova Crystals, up to Beskar blueprints; the full track costs 473.
• These are configured prices, not confirmation every offer is available.

World Missions

• A mission every 35 minutes (was 50), with a 30-minute gap and the timetable shifted 15 minutes later.
• Crates add 5, 10, 15, 20 Kyber Crystals by level; level 4 blueprint rolls can be Kyber (about 1%).

Cantina Quests

• Quests also pay Kyber Crystals: 1 Common, 2 Rare, 3 Epic, 4 Legendary.
• Fusion droids are no longer requested.

Droidex and collection

• The rebuilt in-game Droidex is switched on, with 20 slots a page and a Kyber tab showing Inactive, Green, Blue and Purple.
• New collection milestone: 25 Kyber droid types for +400% Credits Multi.

Other changes

• Limited Deals now offer Rainbow 5, Beskar 4, Galactic 3, Stellar 2 and Kyber 1 (was Diamond 10, Rainbow 6, Beskar 2, Galactic 1, Stellar 0.25).
• The Chopper Mega Crate drops Stellar 3 : Kyber 1 instead of Galactic 3 : Stellar 1, and the Wheel Spin replaces Rainbow with Kyber.
• LOW-MO base income 12,600 → 11,700 credits per second.
• Kyber Fusion: matching colours push one colour higher (Green → Blue → Purple); three Stellar copies push to Kyber.
• A Gonk-O-Ween teaser reads "October 3rd - November 1st", and an empty event slot is scheduled for 3 October 2026, 20:00 UTC.
