What do Daily Quests reward in Droid Tycoon?
Daily Quests give one blueprint plus 10 Upgrade Chips (Easy), 25 chips (Medium), or 1 Nova Crystal (Hard). Normal Galactic Legendaries need rarity average 2.5 or higher and variant average 4.5 to below 5.5. Stellar Legendaries need rarity 2.5 or higher and variant 5.5 or higher. A missing Beskar-or-lower Rebirth droid can replace this reward.
Count your assigned droids and non-Iconic companions. Leave out Lounge droids and the six Protocol bonus slots.

Daily Quest upgrades affect the three objectives on the quest panel. DJ R-3X affects world activities around the map. Equipping him does not turn a Daily Quest reward into two crystals.
What v1.25 changed
The Craft and Sell Hard quests now ask for 20 droids instead of 40. That halves the longest objective in the Hard pool, so a Nova Crystal from a Hard quest can fit a shorter session than before.
How to get Epic or Legendary blueprints
The game gives each droid a rarity score. Add the scores of all the droids that count, then divide by how many droids you counted. This gives your average score.
Common = 0, Rare = 1, Epic = 2, Legendary = 3, Mythic = 5. Iconic droids do not count.
| Blueprint rarity | Average rarity score |
|---|---|
| Common | Below 0.5 |
| Rare | 0.5 to below 1.5 |
| Epic | 1.5 to below 2.5 |
| Legendary | 2.5 or higher |
For example, 10 Epic droids and 10 Legendary droids give 50 points across 20 droids. 50 divided by 20 is 2.5, so your blueprint rewards are Legendary. With 11 Epics and 9 Legendaries, the average drops to 2.45, so the rewards are Epic.
Mythic droids help raise your average, but these blueprint rewards stop at Legendary.
Which droids count?
Count droids in your normal base slots, mission slots, crafting depots, chip stations and Fusion slots. Count your equipped companions too, unless they are Iconic.
Leave out Lounge droids, droids in the six Protocol bonus slots, Iconics and stored blueprints. Empty slots do not count as low-level droids.
Your Rebirth level and Credits earned do not set the blueprint tier. Each droid that counts gets one vote, so a cheaper Legendary has the same rarity score as an expensive Legendary.
How to get Galactic or Stellar Legendaries
Daily Quests also give each counted droid a variant score. Add those scores and divide by the same number of droids. Your rarity and variant scores are checked separately.
Default = 0, Gold = 1, Diamond = 2, Rainbow = 3, Beskar = 4, Galactic = 5, Stellar = 6, Kyber = 7, Scourge = 8.
| Normal reward | Average scores needed |
|---|---|
| Galactic Legendary | Rarity: 2.5 or higher. Variant: 4.5 to below 5.5. |
| Stellar Legendary | Rarity: 2.5 or higher. Variant: 5.5 or higher. |
If all 20 counted droids are 10 Galactic and 10 Stellar, your variant average is 5.5. That gives Stellar blueprints. If your rarity average is also at least 2.5, they are Stellar Legendaries.
10 Beskar and 10 Galactic droids give a variant average of 4.5, which gives Galactic blueprints. Kyber and Scourge droids can raise the average further, but Daily Quest rewards stop at Stellar.
A missing Rebirth droid can change your reward
A Daily Quest can sometimes give a droid you are missing for your next Rebirth instead of the normal blueprint. The game gives each missing requirement a 1-in-3 chance, but only accepts Legendary or lower in Beskar or lower.
This special choice cannot pick a Galactic or Stellar requirement. Your normal reward can still happen to be that droid. The exact droid is random, and a missing Beskar-or-lower requirement can replace an otherwise Galactic or Stellar reward.
Daily Quest rewards
Each Daily Quest pays the chips or Nova listed below, plus one blueprint. The blueprint normally follows the average rarity and variant of the droids that count in your setup.
| Difficulty | Current pool | Base reward |
|---|---|---|
| Easy | 14 possible objectives | 10 Upgrade Chips |
| Medium | 10 possible objectives | 25 Upgrade Chips |
| Hard | 9 possible objectives | 1 Nova Crystal |

Daily Quest Crystals
This costs 30 Nova and replaces every Daily Quest Upgrade Chip reward with exactly 1 Nova Crystal. Easy and Medium quests stop paying chips after the purchase, so wait if droid upgrades still need many chips.
Double Daily Quests
This costs 75 Nova and lets you reset the current set once after claiming all three Daily Quest rewards. It is valuable only when the first set is completed regularly. The reset becomes available again when a new Daily Quest cycle starts or after Super Rebirthing.
World Missions replace World Quests
The four World Missions are Fish For Scrap, Mine Rocks, Eliminate Guards and Defend Terminals. Each lasts five minutes. A new mission starts every 35 minutes, every 20 minutes during Scourge Friday (Nov 6, 03:00 UTC to Nov 7, 03:00 UTC), every 20 minutes during Scourge Friday (Nov 13, 03:00 UTC to Nov 14, 03:00 UTC), every 20 minutes during Scourge Friday (Nov 20, 03:00 UTC to Nov 21, 03:00 UTC), every 20 minutes during Scourge Friday (Nov 27, 03:00 UTC to Nov 28, 03:00 UTC), every 20 minutes during Scourge Friday (Dec 4, 03:00 UTC to Dec 5, 03:00 UTC), every 20 minutes during Scourge Friday (Dec 11, 03:00 UTC to Dec 12, 03:00 UTC), every 20 minutes during Scourge Friday (Dec 18, 03:00 UTC to Dec 19, 03:00 UTC), every 20 minutes during Scourge Friday (Dec 25, 03:00 UTC to Dec 26, 03:00 UTC), every 20 minutes during Scourge Friday (Jan 1, 03:00 UTC to Jan 2, 03:00 UTC), every 20 minutes during Scourge Friday (Jan 8, 03:00 UTC to Jan 9, 03:00 UTC), every 20 minutes during Scourge Friday (Jan 15, 03:00 UTC to Jan 16, 03:00 UTC), every 20 minutes during Scourge Friday (Jan 22, 03:00 UTC to Jan 23, 03:00 UTC), every 20 minutes during Scourge Friday (Jan 29, 03:00 UTC to Jan 30, 03:00 UTC), every 20 minutes during Scourge Friday (Feb 5, 03:00 UTC to Feb 6, 03:00 UTC), every 20 minutes during Scourge Friday (Feb 12, 03:00 UTC to Feb 13, 03:00 UTC), every 20 minutes during Scourge Friday (Feb 19, 03:00 UTC to Feb 20, 03:00 UTC), every 20 minutes during Scourge Friday (Feb 26, 03:00 UTC to Feb 27, 03:00 UTC), every 20 minutes during Scourge Friday (Mar 5, 03:00 UTC to Mar 6, 03:00 UTC), every 20 minutes during Scourge Friday (Mar 12, 03:00 UTC to Mar 13, 03:00 UTC), every 20 minutes during Scourge Friday (Mar 19, 03:00 UTC to Mar 20, 03:00 UTC), every 20 minutes during Scourge Friday (Mar 26, 03:00 UTC to Mar 27, 03:00 UTC), every 20 minutes during Scourge Friday (Apr 2, 03:00 UTC to Apr 3, 03:00 UTC), every 20 minutes during Scourge Friday (Apr 9, 03:00 UTC to Apr 10, 03:00 UTC), every 20 minutes during Scourge Friday (Apr 16, 03:00 UTC to Apr 17, 03:00 UTC), every 20 minutes during Scourge Friday (Apr 23, 03:00 UTC to Apr 24, 03:00 UTC), every 20 minutes during Scourge Friday (Apr 30, 03:00 UTC to May 1, 03:00 UTC), or every 15 minutes while a Protocol event is active. Since 1.34.0, scheduled live events do not pause World Missions.
Their credit rewards scale with your account economy, so the current trackers do not publish one fixed payout that would be honest for everybody.
DJ R-3X
DJ R-3X doubles World Mission progress while equipped, which helps reach the successive stage goals of 160, 480, 1,200 and 2,400 points. Keep him equipped when opening the World Mission crate for two copies of each rolled blueprint; guaranteed Credits and Chips are paid once. His perk also pays the same rolled Super Crate reward twice.
The Super Crate farming guide explains those reward effects and the separate crate spawn system.
