Droid Tycoon v1.25 Changes Explained

What changed in Droid Tycoon v1.25?

v1.25 adds a second Firing Range floor with six Battle Droid slots unlocking from Rebirth 17 to 22, puts Multi Crit in the Nova Shop, raises late Rebirth rewards, buffs crates, and cuts two Cantina prices.

Plan for six more Battle Droids if you are past Rebirth 16, and recheck your Daily Quest targets.

Firing Range and Battle Droid slots

• Added a second floor to the Firing Range.
• Added 6 new Battle Droid slots, unlocking from Rebirth 17 through Rebirth 22.

Rebirth rewards

• Crit Chance and Crit Amount Rebirth rewards are higher after Rebirth 22.
• Offline Earnings receive a boost at Rebirth 25 and at Rebirth 28.

Nova Shop

• Multi Crit was added to the Nova Shop.

Crate buffs

• Gold, Diamond, and Rainbow Crates now award more Upgrade Chips.
• Rainbow Crates have a higher chance to award Nova Crystals.

Quality of life

• You can now cancel an Astromech Mission by interacting with its terminal.
• You can now view another player’s Droidex inside their base.
• The Build and Sell 40 Droids Daily Quests were reduced to 20 Droids.
• Luck Boost and Boost Bundle each cost 100 fewer V-Bucks.

Fixes

• The Upgrade Chip Station now works properly after a Super Rebirth.
• Fixed Blueprints randomly despawning.
• The Rebirth screen now works in Splitscreen.

What players should do

• Plan for six more Battle Droids across Rebirth 17 to 22 if you are past Rebirth 16, since the second Firing Range floor is where they go.
• Treat the Craft and Sell Daily Quests as 20 droids rather than 40 when deciding whether to finish a Hard quest.
• Cancel an Astromech Mission at its terminal instead of waiting out a timer you no longer want.
• Use the current Nova Shop guide when budgeting Multi Crit. At v1.25 publication only Level 1 at 400 Nova Crystals was confirmed; v1.26 recorded the complete track at 400, 800, 1,200, and 1,600 Nova Crystals.
