Droid Tycoon v1.30.0: Protocol Droids and World Missions

What changed in Droid Tycoon v1.30.0?

Four new Protocol droids join C-3PO, World Missions replace World Quests, DJ R-3X doubles mission progress, and normal Rebirths now grant Nova Crystals from rank 20.

Protocol droids

• SA-5, LOM, PZ and TDA are added to the Droidex. C-3PO is now grouped with Protocol droids and retains 2x Droid Sell Value.
• Standard Protocol companions grant Credit Multiplier, rising by 200 percentage points per finish. Stellar TDA reads 2200%.

Protocol base slots

• Six new slots provide one income booster and one passive crafting booster in each of the three bays. They are separate from the 31 ordinary income stations.
• Buy the slots as you progress: income at Rebirth 2, 6 and 10, then crafting at Rebirth 14, 18 and 22. Each purchase also needs Credits and its earlier station unlocks.
• C-3PO in an income slot gives +200% · 3x total bay income. In a crafting slot he gives +4,000% · 41x total passive crafting progress. His 2x Droid Sell Value companion perk is separate from both placement bonuses.

World Missions

• Fishing, mining, guard elimination and terminal defence replace World Quests. World Missions are scheduled to unlock September 12 at 1 PM Pacific.
• Missions run for five minutes. Their interval is 45 minutes normally and 15 minutes during the Protocol event.
• The shared mission meter has successive goals of 200, 600, 1,500 and 3,000 points for crate levels 1–4. It resets between stages. Each participant receives one crate at the level reached.
• DJ R-3X now grants 2x World Mission Progress. Credit rewards scale with your own Credits per second.

Rebirth rewards

• Normal Rebirths now grant Nova Crystals from ranks 20 through 35, separate from Super Rebirth rewards.
• RB20–24 grant 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 Nova. RB25–29 grant 40, 50, 60, 70 and 80. RB30–35 grant 120, 140, 160, 180, 200 and 300. The Rebirth Tracker now lists these grants at every rank.

Droidex data corrections

• Stellar Chip Station output is now verified at 14, 28, 42, 56 and 70 chips per minute from Common through Mythic.
• Both Fusion Tank levels cost 300 Nova. Fusion Speed starts at 10 Nova and rises by 25 per level. Stellar Surge is 90 Nova or 500 V-Bucks.
• Flawless probabilities now include the inclusive random range: Default is 1/1001 and Stellar is 1/51. These corrections fill gaps in Droidex; they are not new game balance changes.

Other changes

• The Nova Shop layout, category order and icons are unchanged. Its 41 perk definitions retain their prices, levels, prerequisites and categories.
• Protocol Paint requires 28 collected Protocol entries across droids and finishes. World Mission Paint requires 500 completed World Missions.
• Iconic droids now have a return confirmation. New touch controls and mobile HUD layouts are included.
